Oregon Raindrop Fund offers 501(c)(4) grants up to $50,000 to nonprofit organizations focused on progressive change in rural and exurban communities across Oregon.
Oregon Raindrop Fund’s grant program provides vital financial support for organizations to embrace high-impact opportunities in priority areas:
- Ensuring fair and just conditions for participation in the democratic process
- Civic engagement efforts focused on voter education, participation and mobilization
- Efforts to identify, develop and elect local political leadership committed to progressive values
- Grassroots advocacy for policies and initiatives that realize meaningful impacts on progressive issues
- Support to develop independent media and participatory journalism
- Efforts that reduce reliance on fossil fuels and grow renewable energy options and infrastructure
Grant review, approval, and evaluation is informed by an assessment of real-world change to be realized.
